Mambobaby is a baby and children's products company built on original product design, manufacturing, and brand operation. Our roots go back to 2005, when we began designing and selling baby neck floats. For two decades we have used our experience in materials, construction, and manufacturing to make practical improvements to the products families use every day.

Who We Are

Mambobaby products are designed and manufactured by Zhejiang Mambobaby Baby Products Co., Ltd. in China, the owner of the Mambobaby trademark. Mambobaby Inc, established in the United States in 2020, is the authorized United States seller and operates this official online store, mambobaby.com. We work with distributors, retailers, and partners across international markets.

Our Story

Our development has always been guided by real, everyday product challenges. In 2010 we filed a patent application for an air-free baby neck float, bringing our experience with foam materials into flotation design. The concept reached commercialization in 2013, and in 2017 we developed the first generation of the air-free Mambobaby Chest Float.

Since then, feedback from parents and partners across different markets has guided ongoing improvements to the Mambobaby Float — materials, fit, canopy options, cleaning, and storage — alongside clear guidance to help caregivers understand each product's intended purpose, instructions, and limits.

As a father of three, founder Remus Zhou brings a parent's perspective to product development. That thinking has extended beyond water products to the Mambobaby Head Protector and continues to guide our Rider family-travel project.

Standards and Industry Involvement

Zhejiang Mambobaby Baby Products Co., Ltd. was one of the principal drafting organizations for China's voluntary national standard GB/T 44673-2024, Juvenile products — General requirements for buoyant devices on water, published in 2024 and effective from 2025. Founder Remus Zhou was named among its principal drafters. Our products are designed and tested to meet the safety standards indicated on each product's page and packaging.

Mambobaby flotation products are designed for supervised water play and water familiarization. They are not lifesaving devices and are not a substitute for competent adult supervision. A child must remain under constant, close supervision and within arm's reach of a responsible adult at all times in or around water.
